Assignment:

  1. Find and watch science related video clips and select 3 to upload to wikispaces on the appropriate z-SJE Video Page.
  2. Give it a Title and relate it to an overall topic, like: Cells. Example: ADHD and your Brain- Cells/Medical
  3. Write an interesting statement to draw someones interest on what it is about.
  4. List 2-5 questions to go with the video. (Depending on length of clip.)
  5. Write: Brought to you by: (Your Name) and give it a Rating: 1-5

Find a video clip of interest that is related to one of the topics below.

  • Genetics
  • Cancer
  • Disease
  • How the body works
  • Osmosis, Diffusion, or Active Transport
  • Photosynthesis & Cellular Respiration
  • Ecology
  • Natural Selection
  • Biomes
  • Biogeochemical Cycles (water cycle, Nitrogen cycle, physphorous cycle)
  • FoodChains Food webs
  • Evolution
  • Macromolecules

Instructions to add video: DO NOT ERASE!
  • Click "Edit" page to bring up the editing tool bar.
  • Scroll down TO THE END OF THE PAGE and click where you want to put your video.
  • Click "Widget" button on the Editing toolbar. (Has a blue TV icon)
  • On Widget toolbar view the left menu:
    • Click "video" on left side
    • Click "Youtube" on right. (or pick another one if it isn't from youtube.)
  • Copy paste your embeded link that you got from the youtube site. (Pull up your video on another tab. Get the code for the embedded link by clicking the share button under your video, then copy and paste it in the widgit as explained above.)
  • You can add a caption with your name and or comments, and resize the video, center it, etc. as desired.
  • When finished click "Save" on the edit bar and your are done!
